"The Westminster canvass"; showing Charles Fox, as Guy Fawkes, being carried in a chair resting on two poles by his supporters Edward Hall and Sam House. In his right hand is a dark lantern inscribed "Amor Patriae", in his left a bundle of matches labelled "For the new Parliament". This is a satire on the Westminster election.
