Description
The Household Cavalry passing St James's Palace in Marlborough Road, Westminster. A procession of mounted horses parade past the palace in the soilders wearing white gloves and helmets with plumed feathers. Vehicles and pedestrians are visible on the road. Built c1533-35 for Henry VIII on the site of the hospital of St James, the Palace is Grade I listed, listing number 1264851. It serves as the London residence of some members of the royal family.
