Description
A view of the first-floor front room at 7 Denmark Street, Holborn, containing an electric fireplace and two guitars. This terraced house was built in the late seventeenth century as part of the development of Denmark Street between 1686 and 1691 by Samuel Fortrey and Jacques Wiseman. In the second half of the twentieth century, Denmark Street became the centre of Britain’s music industry.
