"Joey" the Clapham Old Town Fire Brigade's Mascot
London Fire Brigade officer number E537 poses outside Clapham Old Town Fire Station in 1924.
George Ellis, the photographer, didn't note the officer's name. It seems that the station mascot 'Joey' (the pigeon) was the star attraction.
