Description
"Hudibras in the Stocks"; a scene taken from the three-part mock-heroic satire 'Sir Hudibras' by Samuel Butler. Sir Hudibras, a Presbyterian knight, is the main character which also features the sectarian Squire Ralpho. In the manner of Don Quixote and Sancha Panza, they set out on a journey by horseback and suffer several bizarre adventures on the way.
