Description
Landing and staircase of 3 Stratford Place, Marylebone. Iron work bannisters and skylight in view. Built, along with numbers 2-7, in 1774 by Richard Edwin. Now known in 2021 as Tanzania House as it is The High Commission of the United Republic of Tanzania. It was the former residence of Alice Liddell, the heroine of Lewis Caroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Numbers 2-7 Stratford Place are Grade II listed, listing number 1237104.
