Description
A view along Putney Embankment, Wandsworth, looking west by The Platt. A winter scene showing a row of three-storey houses on the left and the River Thames to the right. This white stone building has four floors and a terrace with ornate iron balconies on the lower floors. There is a Ball Room sign on the front of one of the buildings and two solitary men in the picture. Part of the building is currently occupied by the Star and Garter pub, 2 Putney Embankment, the other is made up of residential flats called The Mansions.
