Title
Houses in Platt Street
Description
View of houses in Platt Street, Camden, looking west towards Charrington Street and the rear of Sussex House in Chalton Street. The former police station can be seen on the left, the neighbouring factory on the corner having been demolished with the vacant plot fenced off with corrugated sheeting. Vehicles parked at the roadside include a Fiat 128, a Ford Corsair, a Morris Minor, Vauxhall Victor FD estate, a Ford Popular 100E and a Ford skip lorry along with pedestrians. All buildings on the left have since been demolished and replaced with a low-rise housing estate around a new entrance road, Somers Close.
