Also visible in the distance is Ludgate Hill railway bridge and the spire of Saint Martin within Ludgate. The photograph is taken approximately outside 131 Fleet Street. Businesses in the street include James Fortescue, hatter and Robert Hancock, chemist. The street is very busy with people and horse-drawn vehicles.
