Description
Jerusalem Court slum housing, Clerkenwell. Black cat. The Medical Officer of Health for Clerkenwell said in 1888 'Jerusalem Court is a narrow winding Court, entered from St. John's Square by a covered entry, with block of model dwellings on the north side, which medical men have stated to be very unhealthy, without through ventilation, and such as should never have been built'.
