Description
Fireplace in first floor of 6-7 Carlton House Terrace, Westminster. The surround is decorated with reliefs depicting cherubs and fountains, and rubble and pieces of wood are on the ground. One of a pair of four-storey terraces of grand town houses, designed by John Nash and Grade I listed, listing number 1209780. Numbers 6-9 became home to The Royal Society in 1967.
