Description

Five storeys in red brick with decorative red and white banding, circular and triangular pediments above bay windows on third storeys at numbers 74 and 75, and a pedimented gable at number 75. In view at right is the circular turret of the building on the corner of Nottingham Street. The ground-floor unit at number 74 is occupied by Twenty One Stationery, a retailer of office equipment. At number 75 is a tobacconist, Peter B Harris Ltd. Above the shop is an estate agent's sign: 'Excellent office suite TO LET Brecker Grossmith [address illegible] 01-486 3531'. Number 76 is a four-storey house, built probably 1840s. The shop is occupied by Designique. Its van parked outside has the legends, 'Learning is fun with Kleeco's blackboard books. Use them again and again, and again.' 'Designique backgammon'. On the door of the van, the address: '2 Paddington Street, London'.
