Title
Building in Lodge Lane
Description
Oblique view of the frontage of 14 Lodge Lane, North Finchley.

An angular building, flat rendered, with a corner shop beneath and accommodation above. The front door is at 45 degrees to serve both Lodge Lane and William Street. Although apparently empty, there is a sign for Barbara canine beautician, with a phone number on a card beneath.

Outside is a telegraph pole and a row of terraced cottages with an off-licence with a large Truman's advert and a lit sign, in the distance. There is a figure and a bicycle outside one of the cottages.

None of this scene exists now, including William Street. It has all been developed as Lodge Lane Car Park.
