Description
A view of the front elevations of terraced houses, which are mostly hotels, at 7-24 Argyle Square, King's Cross. The Thackeray Hotel at number 24 is followed by the Ferndale, the Langley, the Elmwood, Tyne Hotel, Queen's Hotel, Waverley House, Howard Winchester and the Northern Hotel at the end of the terrace at number 7. The Thackeray has a sign over the door announcing "vacancies". Faintly at the end of the street, King's Cross Station is visible. Built in 1840-49, numbers 7-25 Argyle Square were Grade II listed in 1974, listing number 1246999.
