Description
Interior staircase in 12 Tokenhouse Yard, City of London. Designed by architect E. A. Gruning and built as the headquarters of London merchant bank Frederick Huth and Company in 1872. From 1937-2003 it was the headquarters of investment bankers, Cazenove and Company. The photo shows a mahogany open stairwell with dado and triple tall, half-rounded windows at the half landing that rise with the stair and which have ionic columns between them. The building was Grade II listed in 1977; listing number 1358903.
