Description
1-7 Warwick Place, Westminster. The public house was built in 1846 and is Grade II listed, as are all the buildings on the north side of the street. Major drug smuggler Howard Marks mentions the pub in his best selling autobiography 'Mr. Nice'. He concluded one of his earliest drug deals there. The first-floor windows have entablatures and there is a cornice at roof level. In the picture a shop belonging to J Baker & Son is visible; they were a long established boot repair establishment.
