Houses in Warwick Crescent
Description
Warwick Crescent, Westminster. These houses have all been demolished. This part of Westbourne Green suffered from social decline and overcrowding in the twentieth century. Properties were bought up by the London County Council as part of their slum clearance programme. They opened the Warwick Estate in 1962 and these buildings were replaced by new housing designed by Hubert Bennett.
