Houses in Park Hall Road
Description
View of villas at 49-51 Park Hall Road, West Dulwich. Built between 1846 and 1854, the villas on this road are the earliest suburban development in the area, then known as Thurlow Villas after Lord Thurlow who owned the land until his death in 1806. They are two-storey semi-detached houses with a basement, attic and an arched porch. On the first floor of number 51 are sash windows with a triangular pediment. This is now part of Lambeth Council's Park Hall Road Conservation Area.
