Description
Front elevations of terrace of houses at 292-296 Kennington Park Road, Kennington. They were demolished in the 1930s to be replaced by Alverstone House, one of the twelve five-storey blocks of Kennington Park Estate, which was built by the London County Council (LCC). The estate borders the Oval Cricket Ground and most of the blocks and many of the surrounding streets are named after cricketing greats.
