View of 8-32 Halstead Street, Stockwell, on the corner with Robsart Street.

On the far left is a terrace of three two-storey buildings, number 64 Robsart Street with entrance door on the side surrounded by trellising and numbers 32-30 Halstead Street, with number 30's entrance door out of sight at the side of the building.

Numbers 28-14 form a two-storey terrace, and numbers 12-8 a three-storey terrace. In the street is a peak-capped road sweeper with his cart, and a motorbike and sidecar combination.

Behind 64 Robsart Street is St Helen's Roman Catholic Church built 1905. The building remains but is now part of a primary school. Halstead Street no longer exists and the site is part of Slade Gardens.
