Title
Building in Belvedere Road
Description
View of the rear elevation of a property on Belvedere Road, South Bank, showing a three-storey brick building with a lattice porch. In the yard are stacks of furniture including chairs, cupboards and shelves. A sheet has been drapped over some of them as weather protection. A woman smiles at the viewer by the archway of the porch. The buildings in this area were demolished after World War II to make way for the Festival of Britain in 1951, and the site has been redeveloped into the South Bank area.
