Houses in Fentiman Road
Description
View of 106-108 Fentiman Road, Kennington. In 1806 John Fentiman Snr. bought an estate of 32 acres from Sir Charles Blicke, a surgeon at St Bartholomews Hospital. He died in 1820 and the property was divided between his two sons. Fentiman Road was laid out around 1838. Numbers 106-108 are mid-nineteenth century, three-storey semi-detached houses, with full-height set back entrance bays. Railings enclose the front garden of number 106 and a hedge encloses number 108. They are Grade II listed, number 1080461. Two cars are parked in the road.
