Description
15 Durand Gardens, Lambeth. This semi-oval shaped enclave with enclosed gardens set into the centre was developed in the nineteenth century. Number 15 is a single-storey house with an upper floor in the front gable end. An arched doorway with stucco surround and fanlight. Fretwork on upper window and roof pinnacle. In the downstairs window plants line the inside cill, curtains are visible at the other windows. A garage with windows is to the right with a tree planted in front. The boundary is marked by ornate iron gates whose pattern continues into the ironwork above the brick wall that lines the property. Plants are in the garden and a car is parked on the road.
