Description
These Grade II listed buildings at 37-39 Groveway, Lambeth, were built in the early to mid-nineteenth century from stock brick. The roof is slated mansard with dormer windows and chimney stacks, a stuccoed basement, frieze, modillion cornice and tall parapet. There are round-headed windows on ground floor with cast iron guards on the cills and architraved sash windows with glazing bars and curtains. Steps lead up to the door which is set back behind an entablature surround. A picket fence and bushes are in the front, with a large tree to the right.
