Description
The vicarage of St Barnabas on Guildford Road in South Lambeth sits adjacent to the church. Both were built in 1850 in a neo-Gothic style. The architects were Messrs Clarke and Humphries. The church was deconsecrated in 1978 and converted into social housing c1985. Architrave surrounds the sash windows with glazing bars and a central band underneath. The building has two storeys with a basement and attic windows within Gothic gabling. A chimney wall sits on the outer edge. The entrance door has an arched porchway with steps leading up. An iron fence encloses the area with three trees in the front garden. A 1960s tower block can be seen in the background.
