Title
Houses in Gipsy Road
Description
This pair of Grade II listed Georgian houses built from stock brick at 3-5 Gipsy Road, Lambeth, date from around the late eighteenth or early nineteenth century and are one of the earliest suriving buildings in this area. The central block has a pediment which links the two houses with set back side bays. There are stucco dressings for the frieze and cornice. The lower sash windows have glazing bars and the doorway on the left has a brick arch and a chimney, and pointed roof is also visible. There is a wooden gate and the wooden fence is lined with bushes and trees behind that dapple light onto the house.
