View of 335-337 Coldharbour Lane, Brixton. Part of a three-storey terrace with shop fronts on the ground floor. Fluted Corinthian style columns decorate the shop fronts. Number 335 with a sign, Pam's Café and an advertisement for Pepsi. Number 335A a wooden gate with a sign, L&W. Whitehead Building Contractors. Parked in front is a Ford Escort Estate. Number 337 with a shop sign Martyn's, a hairdresser shop with wigs displayed in the window. At the time the photo was taken, the buildings were due for demolition. This site is now an open space in front of the blocks of flats called Southwyk Place known locally as the Barrier Block, completed in 1981.
