Houses in South End and Ansdell Terrace
View of front elevation of house at 20 South End and view of Ansdell Street, Kensington. Number 20 South End was originally the back premises of a house in Kensington Square. It is likely to have been a former stables and reconstructed in the twentieth century. Ansdell Terrace was formerly called St Alban's Road North. The street and houses on the east-side (seen in this image) were erected in 1878 on the back garden of 13 Kensington Square. Some of the houses were rebuilt after being damaged in World War II.
