Archway to Osten Mews
View of the brick archway looking from Emperor’s Gate to 2 Osten Mews, South Kensington. Part of a nineteenth-century, two-storey, terrace mews with the backs of much taller houses on Cromwell Gardens in the background. There is a large climbing plant on the front of number 2 and a window box at the ground-floor window. The road surface is cobbled in the mews with tarmac in the foreground in Emperor’s Gate. The ornate iron railings of 37 Emperor’s Gate are on the right, and number 36 on the left.
