Houses in Oxford Gardens
View of 96 Oxford Gardens, Ladbroke Grove, with 98 visible on the left. A pair of large double-fronted, semi-detached brick houses with three stories plus basement, built in the 1860s and 1870s. Both front doors have glass and metal porches and a wooden balustrade around a first-floor balcony. The front door to number 96 is slightly open and there are torn and ragged curtains at the window to the right. On the roofline are three ball-shaped finials, two can be seen in this image. The backs of houses on St Mark’s Road can be seen in the background. The parked car on the right is a Ford Cortina which can also be seen on image number 85876, and a Mini is on the right.
