View of the entrance hall of 8 Palace Green, Kensington Palace Gardens, Kensington. A large detached house built c1908, possibly by A. Faulkner and Grade II listed; listing number 1357464. A red brick building with stone features. An exterior photo showing this double-height stone mullioned window can be seen on image number 85768. This hall has wooden panelling and a gallery at the upper floor. There is a brass chandelier with candle-type electric lights. A glass fronted bureau has china displayed, and the piano just off to the right has framed photos on it. One of the photos shows a bride and groom on a stair with an attendant holding the bride’s train.
