View of 4 Palace Green, Kensington Palace Gardens, Kensington. A large detached house built in 1905 by architects Read and MacDonald and Grade II listed; listing number 1065946. A red brick building with a central two-storey porch, an arched door on the ground floor and columns above, with a flagpole. The roofline has a triangular pediment which has a circular window and attic windows in the roof on either side. An old-style gas lamp is on the left. Known as Arundle House, it was the home of banker and entomologist Nathaniel (Charles) Rothschild and family in the early-twentieth century. The same house appears on image numbers 85766 and 85771.
