View of 283-303 Westbourne Grove, North Kensington, looking east. Terrace of three-storey buildings with three-light windows on the first floor, some with ironwork balconies, and topped by cornices with cuved or triangular pediments. Number 283 is "Westbourne Antique Arcade"; number 285 "E.J. Barnes", covered in scaffolding; numbers 287 and 289 "Olivia Jackson"; numbers 291 , 293 and 295 "W. Jones & Son"; number 297 "H.V. Easton, hairdressers"; number 299 "Lovis Stanton"; number 301 "D.M. Collins"; and number 303 "Archer Gallery". Numbers 291 and 293 were Grade II listed in 1972 (list entry number 1265528) as the Twentieth Century Theatre, founded as Victoria Hall in 1863 and renamed the Bijou Theatre in in 1866, with auditorium and foyer surviving. Parked cars.
