Description
View of front elevations of semi-detached houses at 20-22 Lansdowne Road, Notting Hill. Number 20 is a four storey stucco house, including lower ground with a bracketed stone cornice running along the top and a three storey extension with bow fronted windows to the side. There are steps leading up to the front entrance with an ornate wrought iron canopy with light above. To the right of the entrance is a small round window and above that a double height arched window with what appears to be lattice-work. Number 22 is a four storey, including lower ground, half stucco house with a bracketed stone cornice running along the top of the building. There are steps leading up to the front entrance which has an enclosed stone portico with a bracketed cornice above. Both buildings have decorative quoins on the corners. To the left of Number 22 is a partial view of 22a which is a small, two storey house with shutters on the upper window. Parked in the street are a Wolesley 15/60 and a Vauxhall Victor FC.
