Description
Side and front elevations of 47-65 Earl’s Court Road, Earl’s Court. Three-floor and basement stucco terrace with pillarched porches. Formerly known as Lansdowne Terrace, and briefly called Foxley Terrace. All stucco-faced guilloche band pillared porches. The wall in the foreground, by Abingdon Villas, features advertising billboards: North Thames Gas with image of gas oven and grill with slogan 'High Speed Gas Plus'; Tobacco advertising; London Electricity Authority (LEA) showing image of a toddler in nappy in front of a heater; and Free Christian Science Lecture by Keith A. Plummer.
