Description
View of 7-8 Southampton Place, Holborn. Part of a terrace of eight houses built between 1758-1763, probably under the direction of Henry Flitcroft and Grade II listed in 1951, entry 1378772. Number 7, on the left-hand side, has a wooden doorcase with Doric columns and wooden shutters on the ground floor. Number 8 has a stone doorcase with carved console. This view also shows us the mansard roofs on the top floor, and the iron railings which are also listed. There are parked cars and parking meters on the street.
