View of 20-22 Theobalds Road, Holborn. Four-storey terraces dating from c1750 and mainly occupied by solicitors' firms. These properties were Grade II listed in 1951, entry 1379005, and extensively refurbished in 1989. A London County Council plaque can be seen on 22 Theobalds Road, signifying the home of Conservative politician and Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli (1804-1881). Originally erected in 1904, this was destroyed during World War II, and its replacement from 1948, can be seen here. These properties are still used as offices.
