Description
A general view of four-storey buildings at 23-40 Great James Street, Holborn, as seen from number 40, in variously coloured brick. Grade II listed, built in 1720-24. Red brick arches to windows. Panelled doors can be seen and most doorways have enriched carved brackets carrying hoods and patterned radial fanlights. Between the houses, lead rainwater heads and lead pipes are visible. Iron railings are seen by the basement with finials on corners. Cars are parked in the road including a Ford Cortina Mk1 estate, and double street lamps sit on the pavement.
