Title
Shop in Great James Street
Description
A view of a four-storey brick house at 18 Great James Street, Holborn, where a shop can be seen on the ground floor selling groceries. The panelled door stands open, and above it is an advertisement for Lyons Tea. Above the large window is a lintel with decorated brackets at each end. On the third floor, three people can be seen looking out and there are plants in window boxes on the sills. The neighbouring houses at number 17 Great James Street and number 1 Millman Street can also be seen. These buildings no longer exist and a block of flats has been built instead.
