Title
Chelsea Embankment Gardens in Cheyne Walk
Description
General view of Chelsea Embankment Gardens and Ropers Gardens looking west to Danvers Street, at the junction with Old Church Street. Battersea Bridge and the chimneys of Lots Road Power Station are visible in the distance. Work is ongoing to re-align the curbs and roadway. To the right the main part of the site is still in use as war-time allotments and building site. There are barrels, a barrow, workmen's huts and sheds, much rubble and a disused bus.
