Description
Front elevations of 37-38 Cheyne Walk, Chelsea, a striking facade in comparison to other buildings on the Walk. The architect C. R. Ashbee designed 37 for himself, his mother and his sisters in 1893- until 1917. He also designed the adjacent 38 and 39 Cheyne Walk, Chelsea, which were completed in 1899. Number 37 was demolished about 1970.
