Description
Doorway of 213 King's Road, Chelsea. The door has an ornate knocker and a boot scraper is visible to the left of the foot of the door. The boundary wall with the adjoining property is visible immediately to the left of the door. The terraced property is now Grade II listed, having been built along with its neighbour at 215 King's Road in 1720. Later residents of the property included the interior designer Syrie Maugham and her husband Somerset Maugham, film director Sir Carol Reed, and briefly the actress Judy Garland and her family.
