Title
View of King's Road
Description
Aerial view, from opposite rooftops, of the block of buildings situated between Dovehouse Street and Manresa Road along the King's Road, Chelsea. This included a vacant open air car lot situated at 258-270 and a row of terraced four-storey town houses at 270-278 King's Road. All these buildings were demolished to make way for the New Chelsea Fire Station and the Emmanuel Kaye building which was a part of the extension of Chelsea College and is now a part of Imperial College. In the distance, it is possible to make out the buildings of Chelsea Workhouse, St Luke's Hospital, and St Luke's Church.
