View of the junction of King's Road and Oakley Street, Chelsea. On the corner of Oakley Street and King's Road, the side of Dakin & Co. grocers shop can be seen. The site of Park Motors open air car lot situated at 258-270 King's Road can be seen on the far side of King's Road. The site eventually became the Chelsea Fire Station which opened in 1965. The buildings of King's Mead Welfare Home can be seen in Dovehouse Street.
