View of terraced houses and shops at 123-131 Sumner Road, Peckham, on by Rosemary Road. A film poster outside number 129 advertises "Beautiful Stranger" with Ginger Rogers and Lom Baker at the Gaumont cinema in Peckham. At 131 is E.G. Davies Sumner Dairy with advertisements for Lyons tea and Lyons cakes and a large stack of empty milk bottles in crates on the pavement outside by a garage door. The terrace has since been demolished and is now Shurland Gardens social housing in the Willowbrook Estate.
