The Windmill public house in Wyndham Road
View of The Windmill public house, 98 Wyndham Road, Camberwell, seen from Toulon Street looking south to Wyndham Road. A covered vehicle - possibly commercial (registration CPE 618) - is parked in the street with a small covered trailer behind the vehicle. Front elevation of numbers 1a and 2a Toulon Street in the left foreground. A young girl is leaning out of the upper storey window of 1a Toulon Street. Two shop fronts on Wyndham Road are visible to the right of the image. The shop on the right appears to be a newsagent called Bill's and has advertisements for Player's cigarettes and The News of the World newspaper. A plaque on the gable end of the public house reads "Erected 1882". The Windmill public house is currently (May 2021) a convenience food store.
