Hatcham Manor Works in Tustin Street
View of the cobblestone yard at Hatcham Manor Works in Tustin Street, Peckham, as seen from the southern entrance. The works were located on the southern side of Tustin Street between residential house numbers 58 and 62, and opposite the junction with Cambrook Street. The business was operated by Horace Cory & Co. Ltd, manufacturers of dyestuffs, paints and chemical pigments. Multiple steel drums and wooden barrels to the left and right of the image. Brick built three-storey factory building with corrugated iron roof to the rear of the image and a square chimney is visible. One person visible in the doorway of the building. Tustin Street no longer exists and the area was fully redeveloped in the 1960s to create the Tustin Estate of high rise residential accommodation.
