Description
A view of 15 Britten Street, Chelsea. Brick entrance arch for Stowells of Chelsea Southern Limited and their industrial warehouse supplying wines. An anchor lies on top of the lintel alluding to the Anchor Brewery which ended brewing in 1907. Blue Circle cement bags and buckets lie in front of the gate. The building has been replaced with an office block called Anchor House, but the arch has been retained and stands at the entrance to the car park.
