Description
View of terraced houses at 79-90 Bourne Street, Chelsea. Two and three-storey houses, number 79 with a white ground floor, all with arched doorways and iron railings leading up the steps over the basement. Yellow brick with white lintels. Two commercial properties can be seen in the background. One of these, number 85, was Gallery Edward Harvane and is still used commercially. A gap leading to Skinner Place is visible. Number 91-93 is a plain, white building where a gate through to the back is signposted Chester Cottages. Parked small cars include an Austin Mini. Also a skip. The chimneys of Battersea Power station can be glimpsed in the background.
