Description
View of 30 Cadogan Place, Chelsea, and neighbouring houses. Five-storey nineteenth-century buildings in similar style with railings outside leading up to entrances and iron balustrades in front of windows on first and second floors. Grade II listed. Very few changes have been made to the buildings: a blue plaque was erected by the Greater London Council in 1975 to commemorate Dorothy Bland (Mrs Jordan), actress, who lived in the house in 1812-15. Facing Cadogan Place Gardens, the site of eighteenth-century London Botanic Garden.
